Fright Fest 2026 at Six Flags Over Georgia: Dates, Haunts & What Your Ticket Covers

Fright Fest presented by Snickers runs select Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from September 12 through November 1, 2026, and this year's lineup is 13 haunted experiences deep, 5 of them brand new. The returning headliners are two licensed mazes, The Conjuring Universe and SAW: Legacy of Terror, plus two new original mazes and a new scare zone or two thrown in. Here's the full rundown, including the part a lot of guides skip: which pieces your ticket already covers, and which ones cost extra.

Select Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, September 12 through November 1, 2026 (22 select nights)

Included with admission
Rides, all 5 scare zones, all 3 live shows, and Tricks & Treats on weekend days
Costs extra
The 5 haunted mazes, which need a Haunted Attractions Pass (from $49 for the season) or the Fright Fest Bundle (from $69 for one night)
Age guidance
Not recommended for children under 13. Six Flags Over Georgia's standing chaperone rule: 15 and under need a 21+ chaperone starting at 4 p.m. daily.
The thing that trips people up: your park ticket or season pass gets you into Fright Fest itself, the scare zones, the shows, and rides after dark. It does not get you into the 5 haunted mazes. Those need their own Haunted Attractions Pass, and even season passholders have to buy one. If you only want one night of everything, the Fright Fest Bundle folds single-night admission and maze access into one ticket from $69.

The haunts

All 5 haunted mazes

Five mazes are on the Haunted Attractions Pass this year, two of them brand new:

  1. 1 Finklestein's House of Fun Presented by Skittles. New for 2026. A twisted carnival funhouse of warped mirrors and clowns who aren't in on the joke.
  2. 2 Infestation Presented by Snickers. New for 2026. A condemned home that's been taken over by mutant bugs and vermin.
  3. 3 The Conjuring Universe Returning. Warner Bros.' licensed maze built around Ed and Lorraine Warren's occult museum, with Annabelle and the Nun.
  4. 4 SAW: Legacy of Terror Returning. Jigsaw's traps and scenes lifted straight from the film franchise.
  5. 5 Camp Slasher Presented by M&M'S. Returning. A campground slasher maze themed around "Camp Rain Burn."
Between the mazes

Scare zones and shows (no extra charge)

Five scare zones roam the park after dark, two of them new: Dreadwell Brothers Carnival of Curiosities (deranged carnies working an abandoned midway) and Nevermore (a fog-choked realm of towering raven-like creatures), alongside returning zones Disciples of the Beast, Rockville's Festival of Fright, and The Rotted Ones.

Three live shows are included too. The Mare is new for 2026, built around a "Nightmare" character leading a crew of break-dancing zombies. The returning shows are Dr. Fright's Deadman's Party and The Awakening.

Pricing

What everything costs

These were the online prices on Six Flags Over Georgia's official Fright Fest page as of August 18, 2026. Everything is before a processing fee of up to $9.99 and tax, and the site doesn't post a separate single-night, maze-only price, so the Bundle is the way most people buy one night's worth of everything.

Fright Fest Bundle
From $69. Single-night park admission plus access to all 5 haunted mazes in one ticket.
2026 All Season Haunted Attractions Pass
$49, marked down from $69. Maze access on every remaining Fright Fest night this season. Doesn't include general park admission on its own.
Express upgrade
Listed as available for the All Season pass for skip-the-line maze access, but no price is posted yet.
2027 Gold Pass
$65, on sale from $99, sold as an add-on during Fright Fest. Year-round admission to Six Flags' East Coast parks for the 2027 season, not something you need for this event.

We don't sell tickets or passes, and we don't do affiliate links. This is what Six Flags Over Georgia offers so you know your options before you buy from them.

Know before you go

The chaperone policy applies on Fright Fest nights too

Guests 15 and under need a chaperone who's 21 or older. The rule kicks in daily at 4 p.m., one chaperone can cover up to 10 minors, and everyone needs photo ID to prove it. This is Six Flags Over Georgia's standing park policy, not something written just for Fright Fest, but it applies on every Fright Fest night the same as any other day.
Planning

How to pick your night

Fright Fest just got announced days before this was written, so there's no 2026 crowd read yet for this specific event. The general pattern across Six Flags parks is that opening weekend and the final weekend before Halloween pull the biggest nighttime crowds, though that's a chain-wide tendency and not something confirmed for this park specifically. Six Flags Over Georgia has been running some version of Fright Fest since 1987, so the operation itself is well practiced even in a year without a crowd history to point to.

The park runs its regular ride lineup during the day on Fright Fest dates, so check the crowd calendar for the daytime picture before you commit to a date.

Quick answers

Fright Fest 2026 FAQ

Is Fright Fest included with Six Flags Over Georgia admission?

Regular park admission and season passes get you into the park, the scare zones, the live shows, and after-dark rides. The 5 haunted mazes are separate: you need a Haunted Attractions Pass or the Fright Fest Bundle, which combines single-night admission with maze access starting at $69.

Is Fright Fest scary for kids? What age is it for?

Six Flags Over Georgia says Fright Fest isn't recommended for children under 13. The daytime event, Tricks & Treats, is the family-friendly option: costume contests, trick-or-treating, and kid activities with zero scares.

What's the daytime family side?

Tricks & Treats runs Saturdays and Sundays, September 12 through November 1, included with regular admission. It's costume contests, character meet-and-greets, trick-or-treating, and family activities before the park switches over to Fright Fest at night.

What's new for 2026?

Five new haunted experiences: the mazes Finklestein's House of Fun and Infestation, the scare zones Dreadwell Brothers Carnival of Curiosities and Nevermore, and the live show The Mare. That's on top of returning favorites like The Conjuring Universe and SAW: Legacy of Terror.

When does Fright Fest 2026 start at Six Flags Over Georgia?

September 12, 2026, running select Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights through November 1 (about 22 nights total). Exact gate times for each night aren't posted yet, so check the official calendar before you plan around it.

What is Six Flags Over Georgia's chaperone policy?

It's the park's standing rule, not something specific to Fright Fest: guests 15 and under need a chaperone who's 21 or older starting at 4 p.m. daily. One chaperone can cover up to 10 minors, and everyone needs photo ID.

The coasters don't stop for spooky season

Your Fright Fest night includes Goliath and Twisted Cyclone running in the dark. The app tracks Six Flags Over Georgia's ride waits live, so you can time your coaster laps between mazes instead of guessing. Get it on the App Store before you go.
